The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) is the world’s largest animal protein association that represents the poultry sectors politically and institutionally.
The Association has over 140 member companies and organizations from the industry chain, which exports USD 13,4 billion. ABPA, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, manages five industry brands for exports: Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg, Brazilian Breeders and Brazilian Duck. Through its industry brands, ABPA promotes special initiatives in target markets and highlights the competitive advantages of Brazilian poultry products – such as quality, its health status and sustainability in production, fostering new business for the sectors.

about the sectorial project
The Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg, Brazilian Breeders, Brazilian Duck Sectoral Project are maintained by ABPA in partnership with ApexBrasil with the objective to promote chicken, duck, eggs and genetic material produced in Brazil to the international market. Through participation in trade fairs, workshops and other special promotion activities, the projects value the attributes of the sector and promote the international brands of the products, fostering new business for Brazilian exporters. Approximately 75 Brazilian companies currently participate in the project.

About apex-brasil
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy.
Promoting Exports
To achieve its objectives, ApexBrasil carries out targeted trade promotion actions aimed at promoting exports and enhancing the value of Brazilian products and services abroad, such as prospective and trade missions, business rounds, support for the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits by foreign buyers and opinion makers to learn about the Brazilian production structure, among other business platforms that also aim to strengthen the Brazilian brand.
Attracting Investment
The Agency also works in a coordinated manner with public and private actors to attract foreign investment (FDI) to Brazil, focusing on strategic sectors for developing the competitiveness of Brazilian companies and the country.
